History

Established in 1977 by concerned members of the Canoga Park Women's Club, who recognized the need for domestic violence services in the San Fernando Valley, Haven Hills is one of the oldest and largest domestic violence programs in Southern California. Since its humble beginnings over 35 years ago, Haven Hills has convened a broad spectrum of public and private service providers, religious leaders, key business and industry leaders, and concerned individuals; becoming a full-service agency helping victims of domestic violence by providing critical, life-saving services including shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy and support.
